Dr. Augusto Lopez Claros, a noted international economist, represented the Bahá'í International Community at the High-Level Roundtable addressing, “Financing gender equality and the empowerment of women: Leadership for a sustainable future.” The event was co-sponsored by the Permanent Missions of Paraguay and Canada, along with the BIC and the Women’s Environment and Development Organization (WEDO).
