Twenty-five members of Canada’s senate have condemned the Iranian government’s abuse of human rights and called for the immediate release of all of Iran’s unlawfully held political prisoners. More than 25 prisoners were highlighted, among them two of the seven jailed leaders, Behrouz Tavakkoli and Mahvash Sabet.
