Hungary “unequivocally condemns” rights violations in Iran

In the Hungarian Parliament, following a report on the persecution of Baha’is, Senior State Secretary Vilmos Szabo of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Hungary “unequivocally condemns … the severe violations of human rights in Iran” and supports the “immediate release of the incarcerated Baha’i leaders.” If the Baha’is go to trial, he said, international observers must be allowed in.
