US Senators Mark Kirk and Joseph Lieberman, Canadian MP Irwin Cotler, British MP Denis MacShane, Australian MP Michael Danby, Italian MP Fiamma Nirenstein, and Lithuanian MP Emanuelis Zingeris released a joint statement of solidarity with Iran's youth on Student Day. Among the expressions of support, the statement condemened the denial of education to thousands of Baha'i students and called for the immediate release of seven imprisoned Baha'i educators.
