How to Search the Bahá'í International Community United Nations Office's Web Site

 Site Search and Document Search

This web site has two search mechanisms: a document search and a site search exclusive of the document search. The site search is accessed via the search box at the top page in the blue banner. This search mechanism will look for the search word or phrase anywhere on this web site, except for the statements and reports. The image below shows what a site search for the word "peace" produces. Please note that the found word will be highlighted in yellow so that you may see the context in which the word is being used.

The blue RSS button is a special feature that allows you to subscribe to this search. This is the same system used to subscribe to a blog or anything else that uses the RSS system. If you click on the RSS button, you will be provided instructions on how to subscribe. The next time a new document is placed on the site that uses "peace", you will be notified via your RSS reader program. This is the best way to monitor our web site for specific content of interest.

The document search, found immediately under "Statements and Reports" on the main menu is customized to search all the statements and reports produced by our office. You can search for one word or for a combination of words. You may also narrow the search results by selecting language, subject area, and date range.
